My mother is the person that nurtured and cared about me when I was a child. Although I had other relatives, my mother sacrificed to provide a great life for me. My mother worked hard to encourage me to do the best I can do at school and at home. My mother stressed the importance of education and taught me that I was in control over my own destiny. My mother worked two jobs to provide for my siblings and I. She taught us that nothing in life comes easy and that it takes hard work and determination to reach your goals. During my years of preschool my mother traveled thirty minutes from our home to ensure that I received child care that was safe and secure from a relative. My mother made me feel special because she always encourages me to do my best. Even in my adult years she pushes me to make my visions come to light by stressing the importance of education. She encourages me to do things that she has never done to become the best I can be. My mother’s influence has impacted my life because she supports me in whatever decision I make. She cares for my child before and after school by providing him with breakfast and mid day snack. She was even supportive enough to care for my child as his Radius bone broke over the summer due to an injury at school. She is always available to listen to my toughest situations without being judgmental, but offering positive feedback. We have an inseparable relationship and this is what I someday hope to have with my son.

Hi Shevia,
it seems that you are blessed to have a wonderful mother; she reminds me of my wonderful mother. You are blessed to have such a encouraging mother. There are so many children who are less fortunate to have a caring mother, I see that her positive influences still has a major impact on your present life.
