One of my favorite children books that was given to me by a previous co worker is named Love You Forever. It describes the beauty of a mother son relationship. I read this book with my son it was so sweet. It showed how a mother cared for her son and how much she loved him in his adult years. She provided nurture and safety to her son. The mother passed away at the end of the story, but her son became a caring and nurturing parent to his child. It is a beautiful story to read to children.

Hi, Shevia!
This book is one that was given to me as we were expecting our daughter 5 years ago. At first I didn't know how I felt about it as it was very emotional for me to read (or perhaps it was the pregnancy hormones!!). I have read it to my daughter and it is one she likes, but always asks me why the daddy is rocking his mommy at the end of the story. I am not sure how to explain that she passed on, so I just tell her it's because she tired. I think she'll learn about dying soon enough, so this explanation works for me! It is a beautifully written book! :)
My teacher read this story to us during my Early Childhood courses. Almost everyone in the room was in tears. I cannot believe how sweet the book is. I bought the book for my son but still haven't been able to read it to him! I think he would cry too. It really is quite touching though. The story makes me hope and pray the relationship between my son and I remains as close as it is now, always.
I remember this book from when I was taking my first early childhood courses. Our teacher read it to the class and almost everyone was in tears. It is very touching. I bought it for my son but haven't been able to bring myself to read it to him just yet! I am afraid we will both cry. It definitely makes me hope and pray my relationship with my son will remain as strong as it is now.
This book sounds interesting!!! I have a 8 month old son and we have an amazing connection with each other. My mother often says "we are joined at the hip" and I often refer to him as "my handbag" because I hardly ever leave home without him. The relationship that I develop with my son during the early years of his life is very important to me. I want to establish a bonding relationship with my son during his early years of life with the hope that our relationship will become stronger as he develops into a young child, teenager, and adult. Thanks for providing the web link for this book!!!
Shevia,
I have never heard about the book until today, it sounds like a very nice book. I will have to get this and read it to my children during the week we talk about "I am special".
Shevia,
I have not heard about this book until today, it sounds like a really good book. I will have to get it and read it to my children during our theme week "I am speical".
This book sounds very interesting!!! I love to read books, articles, and magazines about mother and son relationships. I have a 8 month old son and we are very close. My mother says that we are "joined at the hip" and I often refer to him as my little handbag because I hardly ever leave home without him. I think it is important to have a strong connection with your children regardless if the child is a boy or girl. I believe children who have a close connection with their mother or father are more likley to develop healthier relationships. Thanks for providing the link for this book!!
