My Research Simulation
The research simulation that I decided to focus on is ways to foster learning through a child-centered curriculum. I chose this subtopic because in my opinion, the curriculum is just as important as the teachers who are hired. When a child care program is of high-quality it meets the needs of children and can have a strong effect on investment (Schweinhart, L.J., 2009). This is my first experience with the simulation process. It is all new to me and I am hoping to master the skills of becoming a knowledgeable researcher. I am a little nervous about how I will deliver the information that I am researching, but I will remain positive and hope for the best.
The research chart has allowed me to realize that developing an initial question is the key component to any research. I am also more familiar with terminology and effective ways to deliver my future works. Is there anyone who has insights about their past experiences with the simulation process that they are willing to share? I have also found the course resources to be very helpful to me during this process.

Shevia,
I believe you chose a great topic because now of days you will find that many curriculums are not child centered. It is about teaching an end of course of end of grade test or how many children you can cram in one class in order to make a better profit. I believe the first time in being child centered is having teachers, administrators, and directors that are actually there for the children.
I think you will do just fine Shevia, remain focused and encouraged. Although the research process can be some-what discouraging at times I think we will all benefit from it in the long run. Thank you for sharing with us.
