My experience with establishing contacts has been challenging. I have been emailing organizations, but have not been successsful with each attempt. This week I plan on contacting several Universities to establish partnerships and consulitng with co-workers that are within the early childhood field. If I am unsuccessful with this attempt I will use the alternative route to establish professional contacts. I am eager to learn more about children in other countires to learn more about ways to better serve families.

Hi shevia:
It has been a challenge for me as well since I have started this new job. Just keep at it like you have been doing and something should come to pass. I'm going to do the same thing. "We can do it (like "Waterboy" lol)!"
It has been challenging for me also. I am sure that when we do make contact and connect with a willing partner it will open so many avenues for us to broaden our horizons in the Early Childhood field.Stay encouraged.
I found the radio cast very enlightening.
Shevia,
It seems we all had the same experience with establishing contacts outside United States (US). After several attempts through email and telephones I tried alternative 1 which claimed several attempts too, although it later came through for me. I will still continue to check on the contacts though, because I would want to have one-on-one discussion with professionals which can be made possible through contacts.
Shevia
I wish you continued luck on your quest to connect with the professionals . The process to connecting all of the dots is not a simple one. It takes a moment as we emerge as professional.
Thanks for the feedback and encouragement.
